A JOURNEY OF SELF DISCOVERY
Saliha Khanum (B:1982, Jhelum, Pakistan) in a traditionally religious Punjabi family Her first overseas journey was at the age of 22, moving to Tanzania with her husband and her 3month old firstborn, whereas a young untrained mother she has faced a lot of problems and issues in her early years of motherhood Khanum found her artistic voice, energy by enduring travel and her everyday struggles of life, as south Asian women, mother, and expatriate partner. She has recently decided to endure art as a profession, she has been trying to be more visible on Instagram and Facebook since 2017 and known for her abstract work expressing her journey of self-discovery Khanum’s work has been represented on several online platforms including the Saatchi art gallery, Fine art America, And Gratis Libre gallery. she is a third-place winner for Abstracts 2019 by j Mane. Gallery. Her work is featured by Raw artist (New York 2018) and Conception Arts (New York 2019-2020) She currently lives in New York with her husband and three children and works from her studio in her house.
